A Cancer-Specific Middle-Range Theory of Symptom Self-Care Management: A Theory SynthesisThe middle-range theory of symptom article describes the self-care management for adults with cancer. Middle-range theories are usually general, simple, and straightforward (McEwen & Wills, 2019, p. 210). Due to their limited number of concepts, the propositions are clearly stated, and the hypotheses are testable.
